The Center for World University Rankings – based in Saudi Arabia – ranked three of Israel’s academic institutions in the world’s top 100 list.
The Hebrew University in Jerusalem ranks 23rd among the world’s prestigious universities and research institutes.
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) – based in Jedda, Saudi Arabia – publishes the only global university ranking that measures the quality of education and training of students. In the 2015 list, CWUR placed three Israeli institution among the top 100, including the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot (39) and Tel Aviv University (86).
The top 10 universities are: Harvard, Stanford, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Oxford, Columbia, Berkeley, Chicago, Princeton and Yale.
CWUR uses eight objective and robust indicators to rank the world’s top 1,000 universities, including quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty, research and influence.
