Historic: Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is the first Israeli leader to visit the UAE.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett was received by an honor guard and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed, with Israeli and Emirati flags in the background, upon his arrival to the Gulf state on Sunday.
In his remarks, Bennett said that he appreciated the hospitality, adding that it was “a splendid welcome.”
He said he was very moved to be in the UAE and hopes to strengthen the network of relations between the two countries.
