A terrorist with a knife wounded three people at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem Monday afternoon. Two victims are in moderate condition; the third light.
The terrorist was shot and neutralized by security forces at the scene. Earlier in the day, a terrorist arrived at the Gush Etzion junction in Judea with a knife, but security forces at the scene prevented an attack.
The wounded victims are in their 20s, one of them a yeshiva student. MDA and United Hatzalah staff paramedics treated them on the spot and then evacuated more seriously wounded to a nearby hospital.
“We arrived at the scene and there was a big commotion, said senior MDA medic Shlomi Pinchas, Channel 12 reported. “The two wounded were lying unconscious and suffering from stab wounds,” he said.
“Due to the nature of the incident, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit is on scene providing emotional stabilization to a number of people at the scene,” the organization said, adding that many witnesses were experiencing shock.
