Israeli-developed device RevDX delivers emergency blood test results in just 30 seconds and a full blood count in about 10 minutes from a single finger prick, already saving lives across the world.
The new product, called MeMed BV Flex, delivers results in 15 minutes and is designed for use in decentralized clinics and other point-of-care settings.
While the immediate application is diagnosing MDS and leukemia risk, researchers believe the technique could eventually be used to detect a range of blood-related disorders earlier and less invasively.
