While Lebanese banks are complying with US legislation that threatens to sanction international financial institutions that knowingly facilitate Hezbollah’s activities, Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah defiantly confirmed his terror organization is funded directly by Iran.

Terror organization Hezbollah has long been known to be working with a major Colombian drug cartel to traffic drugs to Europe and launder money through Lebanon, which is then used to finance its terror operations.

The Lebanese treasury has begun to pay the salaries of ministers belonging to the Hezbollah party in cash in an attempt to dodge a new US Law that targets the terror organization's finances.

Last December, the US government passed the Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Act, which aims to sanction international financial institutions that knowingly facilitate Hezbollah’s activities. Now, Lebanese officials could be targeted as well.
