Grants totaling over 742 Million euro have been awarded to Israeli projects since the program began.

The head of the EuroTech University Alliance, a group of five leading European schools with a focus on math and science, said the Technion was a 'perfect match.'

'Like many other countries around the world, Italy is interested in joint ventures and has tightened its science and technology ties to Israel,' Israel's minister of science said. 

Israel's ElectRoad has won a grant from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program to develop technology that will charge electric buses from a device under the pavement.
