Several members of the American Studies Association (ASA) announced Wednesday that they are suing their own academic association for its boycott of Israel, arguing that the boycott violates a District of Columbia (DC) law that applies to non-profit organizations.
Eugene Kontorovich, a legal scholar whose specialties include international law, published an op-ed in the NY Times that could stir up a backlash in Brussels. Kontorovich’s piece rebukes the EU Commission for breaking EU laws in its zeal to attack the Jewish State.
