New US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee revealed that an official from the World Health Organization called on him to 'put more pressure on Israel to bring humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.'

At his official welcome in Jerusalem, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee warned that if Iran succeeds in destroying Israel, America will be next—declaring, 'Israel is the appetizer, and the United States is the entrée.'

The newly appointed US Ambassador to Israel visited Jerusalem’s Western Wall early Friday morning, just a day after landing in the country.

During Huckabee’s confirmation hearing in March, he told senators that he personally supported Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

'His deep understanding and love for Israel and its people will undoubtedly make him an exceptional ambassador,' wrote Sen. John Boozman.

'To deny that would be to make it very difficult for us to ever understand how to go forward in a relationship with them,' Gov. Mike Huckabee declared at the Senate hearing for his confirmation as US ambassador to Israel.

The visit is being seen by some as a gesture of solidarity with the Jewish community and a reaffirmation of his longtime support for Israel and Jewish causes.

Mike Huckabee says 'something has to be rethought' in the approach to Gaza, noting that Gaza became a 'Palestinian state' following the expulsion of thousands of Jews in 2005, 'and the results we saw on October 7.'

Huckabee, an evangelical Christian, has been outspoken in his support for Israel.
