US Congress is again rallying to support Israel against boycotts, especially after the EU recently published guidelines that require the labeling of products made in Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights.
Israel and US lawmakers responded in fury to the exposed IAEA deal that allow Iran to inspect its own nuclear sites, calling the agreement “remarkably naive and incredibly reckless."
Secretary of State John Kerry faced skeptical lawmakers as he attempted to defend the nuclear deal that he brokered with Iran. Congress is expected to vote on the deal in September.
US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power said that the US defends Israel "day in and day out," but she did not out rule support for resolutions imposing a two-state solution.
