The Shin Bet said it will continue to 'thwart terrorist acts and bring those involved in such activities to justice.'

According to Shin Bet statistics released on Monday, some 172 terror incidents -- including 23 shooting attacks -- occurred in Judea and Samaria in September.

The Shin Bet arrested a six-member Hamas terror cell that carried out a suicide bombing on a bus in Jerusalem in April and had plans to carry out more attacks.
