More than 200 new Jewish immigrants from Ukraine arrived in Israel this week and celebrated their first Chanukah in the Jewish state.

The year 2014 marked not only the highest overall population for Israel, but it was also a record-breaking year for immigration.

Nearly 900 Jews will have moved to Israel since the start of Operation Protective Edge. Not daunted by Israel's enemies, they believe in the future of the Jewish state.
