The former head of Iran’s atomic energy organization admitted in a recent interview to an Iranian paper that Tehran had lied to the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Jerusalem Post reports.

Indeed, this is not the first revelation that the Islamic Republic has deceived the West regarding its nuclear program. For example, an article published in September 2012 on CBS-DC had also reported on Iran’s activities.
Notwithstanding the deception, the International Atomic Energy Agency has claimed that Iran is complying with the terms of its temporary nuclear agreement with six world powers, and the US announced on Thursday that it has taken steps to release a $450 million installment of frozen Iranian funds, according to a report on Israel National News.
