The Jordanian Islamic trust that administers the Temple Mount seems to have an issue with Jews who visit Judaism’s holiest site.
Jordan holds a special status as custodian of the Waqf (Islamic Trust) that administers the Temple Mount.
Israel, however, maintains security control over the site – Judaism’s holiest and Islam’s third-holiest.
The status quo allows Jews to visit the complex but they are forbidden to pray there.
Jordan is now claiming that Israel is endangering peace because of these Jewish visitors. Outrageous, is it not?
