Terrorists endanger the lives of both Israeli and Palestinian civilians.

A Palestinian civilian in the Gaza Strip was wounded on Friday night by a rocket fired by Gaza terrorist groups, the Israeli military reported on Saturday.

The rocket, one of two launched at Israel from Gaza, “landed next to a globally-funded UNRWA [United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees] school,” according to the Israel Defense Forces.

There were no details available on the victim’s condition.

The second projectile landed in an open area of southern Israel, causing no injuries or damage.

“When terrorists fire rockets, they endanger the lives of civilians—both Israeli and Palestinian,” said the IDF, adding, “Terrorists in Gaza don’t care about the lives of Israelis—or Palestinians.”

According to a report by Channel 12 on Friday, Hamas, the terror organization that rules Gaza, deployed its forces in recent days in an effort to stop rocket attacks by smaller armed factions, as it does not have an interest in a direct conflict with Israel at this time.

At the same time, the report said, Hamas “could do more” to stop the rocket attacks, and is locked in competition with Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the second-largest terror faction in Gaza, for the support of the Palestinian street.
