Trump said that all courses of action against Iran are on the table.

US President Donald Trump said that the steps his administration has taken against Iran are only the beginning and that all courses of action regarding the nuclear deal are being considered.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly on Sunday, Trump discussed the new sanctions on Iran-tied businesses and individuals in response to the Islamic Republic’s recent ballistic missile test.

Iran has “total disregard” for America, Trump said, reiterating his criticism of the 2015 nuclear deal struck by his predecessor, Barack Obama. The agreement lifted billions in economic sanctions on Iran in exchange for a supposed curtailing of its nuclear weapons program.

Trump called it “the worst deal I’ve ever seen negotiated.” He said he was not completely opposed to the deal, but stressed that it had not been enforced.

“They’re sending money all over the place and weapons, and you can’t do that,” Trump said, referring to Iran’s support of its global terror network. Iran is blacklisted as the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.

Asked whether he would scrap the nuclear deal, Trump replied, “We’ll see what happens.”

“That deal, I would have lived with it if they said, OK, we’re all together now. But it was just the opposite, it’s like they’re emboldened,” he explained.

As for the new sanctions he slapped on Iran on Friday, Trump said that the US was “just starting.” He would not confirm reports that the US has repositioned a key warship in the Middle East, after accusing former President Obama of revealing too much information.

“I won’t give away military secrets,” he stated.

Speaking in South Korea on Sunday, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis expressed caution on Iran, saying its “adventurism” did not mean the US would necessarily send more military forces to the Middle East.
