Security forces thwarted two Palestinian stabbing attacks in the afternoon shortly before the Jewish Sabbath in Judea and Samaria.

At the entrance to the Sha’ar Binyamin industrial region north of Jerusalem early Friday afternoon, IDF and special police forces noticed two suspicious-looking youths exiting a car with a Palestinian license plate.

During a body search, they were found to be carrying knives and were arrested and taken for questioning.

Shortly after 3 p.m., a female terrorist who tried stabbing civilians at the Gush Etzion junction was neutralized. There were no injuries.

Both locations are frequent sites of Palestinian terror attacks. Last month, Tuvia Weissman, a 21-year-old father, was murdered while shopping on a Friday afternoon in a Sha’ar Binyamin supermarket; two others were wounded.
