O’Neill: ‘The last thing that Yahya  saw was probably the Israeli flag.’

Retired Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Rob O’Neill, who assassinated Bin Laden, praised Israel after the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and had a message for the Biden Administration: “Israel is showing us how to win wars.”

O’Neill, who revealed in 2014 that he was the one who pulled the trigger and killed the then-most wanted man in the world in 2011, commended the Jewish State for eliminating terror leaders.

“What Israel is doing right now is they’re showing us how to win a war. They’re taking out the top leaders. They’re going to keep doing it,’ O’Neill told Newsmax.

Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas and the mastermind behind the October 7 massacre, was not eliminated through a planned assassination but was killed in a regular IDF operation.

After running into a building, soldiers fired at escaping terrorists and, with a drone,  located Sinwar inside; a tank shell hit the building and destroyed it.

“And they’re proving to everyone, including like, even right now, our president will say, ‘Well, now he’s dead, we can work on a cease-fire,” O’Neill added.

‘You don’t don’t let someone start a war and then whine about a cease-fire… Israel ‘did a great job, and I couldn’t be more proud.’ O’Neill said.

Following the death of Sinwar, Vice President and Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris said, “The war must end such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom and self-determination.”

O’Neill said, “This is huge for them. And I love that they were able to do it with soldiers. So the last thing that Yahya saw was probably the Israeli flag.”

In 2011, the Montana native and fellow members of SEAL Team Six stormed Bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. They then cornered and eliminated him.
