The United Arab Emirates was hit with two explosions, killing one person and injuring others, as the first-ever flight from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi was on its way.
Two blasts shook Abu Dhabi Monday, dampening the upbeat mood just a few hours ahead of the anticipated landing of the historic flight from Tel Aviv.
One explosion occurred near the airport, where the El Al ‘peace’ flight was scheduled to touch down mid-afternoon, and the second at a KFC restaurant, where one person was killed.
Several businesses were damaged.
