The 75 trees were planted as a symbol of growth, development, and a strong connection to the land of Israel.
To commemorate Israel’s 75th anniversary of independence, the KKL-JNF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs encouraged the whole diplomatic corps in Israel to plant 75 trees as a symbol of growth, development, and a strong connection to the land of Israel.
Before the ambassadors planted the trees, the head of the diplomatic corps, H.E. Martin Mwanambale, Zambian Ambassador to Israel, read a special tree-planting prayer.
