The new Four Corners Project aims to educate Jews across the world on their heritage through music and fun.
Shlock rock, an American-Israeli Jewish rock band founded and led by singer Lenny Solomon, parodies popular secular songs, substituting new, religious-themed lyrics for the music.
In fact, “shlock” is Yiddish for “second-hand,” Solomon explains in the video.
