The word “resistance” is used in the Arab world to refer to terrorism and violence against Israel.

Syrian writer Dr. Kamal Al-Labwani said in an interview on the Al-Jazeera Network that the Arab League and the Arab regimes are in their current chaotic state because they have been pursuing a so-called “resistance” strategy since 1948, when the state of Israel was created.

The word “resistance” is used to refer to terrorism and violence against Israel.

Al-Labwani said that this false ideology has been used to oppress people, that it is self-destructive, that it has led to war crimes in the name of liberation, and that it has led to the deaths of Palestinians, Lebanese people, Iraqis, and Syrians.

Dr. Al-Labwani concluded, “It is time to do away with the lie of ‘resistance.’”
