As Iran and Turkey continue to threaten Arab states in the Muslim world, leading voices in Saudi Arabia are urging “normalization” with Israel and a renewed focus on the “real enemies” in the region.

During a televised debate in Saudi Arabia about “normalization” of relations with Israel, Saudi journalist Dahham Al-Enazi emphasized that Iran and Turkey are far greater regional threats.

Specifically, Al-Enazi stressed that the conflict with Iran is a matter of life and death, while the Palestinians’ conflict with Israel relates merely to contested borders.

The debate also included strong words of condemnation for Palestinian leaders, and questions regarding how massive amounts of aid ended up in their pockets.
