WATCH: Are the Five Books of Moses Authentic?

Torah Scroll

There are millions of people all over the world who believe in the words of the Bible. It is all predicated on the belief that the Five Books of Moses are true. But is the Torah authentic?

With so many people all over the world placing their faith in the words of the Bible, it’s important to look at the foundation – i.e. the Torah (Five Books of Moses). The Torah is over 3,000 years old, which means that many question whether it is authentic or not. How much have the words changed in that time? Is the Torah credible?

Sinai Speaks has addressed this issue with the following video.

There are many laws in Judaism that specifically relate to writing the Torah. For example, it can only be written based on another accurate scroll, letter by letter. And so on. As the video proves, the Torah that can be found today in any synagogue contains the same words that appear in scrolls since it was first written. (Who wrote the original? That’s a separate video!)

Relevance to Israel

What is the relevance for determining if the Torah is valid? Simple. This is the same Torah that clearly expresses the will of God to give the Land of Israel to the Jewish people. And even if you don’t believe in the Divine nature of the Torah, both Christianity and Islam are founded on the belief that Moses did receive the Torah and the words are true. In fact, the Land of Israel is of utmost importance in the Torah.

With this is mind, we want to remind everyone about our Jerusalem Declaration. Israel is being condemned for building in Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel. We need to send a strong message to tell the world that Jerusalem is ours! And so is the land of Israel!
