The Iranian regime attempted to assassinate Israeli businessmen in Cyprus last week.

After Cypriot authorities arrested a hitman hired by Tehran to attack Israeli citizens, Meir Javedanfar, an Iran lecturer at Reichman University warned Israelis to be on guard and to take this event as a “wake-up call.”

“The Iranian regime may now be looking for Israeli targets,” Javedanfar said.

A media spokesperson speaking on behalf of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett confirmed that Iran was behind the attempted attack.

Javedanfar also shares his thoughts on whether Iran is truly interested in a potential return to a nuclear deal.
