For close to a month, two Australian firefighter experts have committed their time to volunteer training for various civil security units near the borders of Gaza and Lebanon.
These communities have faced constant rocket barrages, suicide drone swarms, and other attacks that can and do cause significant damage, much coming from fires which break out due to the explosives.
Although many families have evacuated the border areas, many remain, which prompted the need to learn these life-saving techniques.
