Barghouti, who inspired other Palestinian prisoners with blood on their hands to go on a hunger strike, was caught eating in his prison cell.

In solitary confinement, Palestinian arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti, revered as a hero by the Palestinian people, was obviously unaware that he was being filmed. He can be seen sneaking food into the lavatory, sitting on the toilet and eating, and then washing up – apparently to remove the evidence.

“The man who led terror attacks against women and children is now hiding in his cell and breaking the fake strike he claims to lead,” Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon stated.

Perhaps the quote from George Orwell’s famous novel, 1984, is apt in this situation, where Barghouti inspired others to starve: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
