Outspoken political commentator Bill Maher called the anti-Israel boycott movement a “bulls**t purity test by people who want to appear [progressive] but actually slept through history class.”
Responding to Israel’s ban on U.S. lawmakers Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib over their support for the anti-Israel BDS movement, political pundit Bill Maher accused those who support boycotts of the Jewish state as ignorant of history and reality on the ground.
Maher noted that Israel’s action against the freshman congresswoman arrives against the backdrop of brutal Palestinian terror campaigns, rocket attacks, and Palestinian refusal to admit that the Jewish people have a right to a sovereign state in their ancestral homeland.
“Somehow, this never gets presented in the American media,” Maher laments, speaking truth-to-power!
