Journalist Nadim Koteich’s comfort in expressing his views suggests that the Lebanese public may be more interested in peace than previously thought.

Since the signing of the Abraham Accords, more and more courageous Arabs from countries without ties to Israel have expressed their hope that their nations make peace with the Jewish state.

Interviewed on Lebanese TV, journalist Nadim Koteich insisted that Lebanon join the Abraham Accords and make peace with Israel.

He also said that Hezbollah’s takeover of Lebanon will eventually collapse along with Iran’s Islamist regime.

The fact that Koteich felt comfortable expressing his views suggests that Lebanese interest in peace may be more widespread than previously thought.
