Asked whether Jews should be allowed to pray at the Temple Mount, their holiest site, British Muslims on the street said they should have that basic right.

The Israel Advocacy Movement asked random Muslims on the street if they believed it was fair that Jews and Christians are prohibited from praying at the Temple Mount.

The overwhelming response was no. Most were not even aware that the site, under the administration of the Jordanian Waqf, has such restrictions and treats people differently depending on their religion

The Temple Mount, located in the Old City of Jerusalem, is Judaism’s holiest site and third-holiest to Islam, after Mecca and Medina.
