BDS can bark all it wants, but top-of-the-line comedians, actors, and musicians are still coming to Israel, helping tourism hit an all-time high in 2017 with ₪20 billion in revenue. A total of 3.6 million tourists were recorded last year, a 25 percent increase over 2016.
Many of these celebrities openly rejected public pressure from BDS activists demanding that they refrain from performing or visiting the Jewish state. While these anti-Israel mouthpieces try to bully others into putting pressure on Israel, BDS is largely ignored and fails in its mission.
