Official Palestinian television is brainwashing an entire generation into thinking that the best thing they can do is die.
What do Palestinian children dream about? If the latest campaign by the Palestinian Authority (PA) is any indication, the answer is “dying.”
The glorification of death has been a mainstay of Palestinian leaders for decades, but the use of music videos and the targeting of an increasingly young audience has brought it to the level of brainwashing.
A new music video on PA-run media features a young performer whipping listeners into an emotional frenzy as the singer imagines more and more people joining in murder and terror because, as the singer puts it, “death is sweet for me.”
It would be more correct, though, to say death is sweet for “you,” since, as in most cases of brainwashing, the leaders behind the song are not risking their own lives.
