Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat calls upon supporters to defend Jerusalem against a hostile world, and “together we’ll fight the bad guys.”
Times have not changed, unfortunately, and the world is not recognizing the deep Jewish connection to Jerusalem and to the entire Land of Israel, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat stated.
Barkat stands by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his strong stand in defense of Jerusalem. The mayor made these remarks in the wake of condemnation by opposition leaders who criticized the Israeli leader’s harsh response to supposed allies that voted in favor of the recent US resolution, delegitimizing Jewish communities in eastern Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.
Barkat extends an invitation to US President-elect Donald Trump to visit Jerusalem, walk the streets where kings and prophets walked, and move the embassy to Jerusalem.
“Together we’ll fight the bad guys,” Barkat stated.
