An IDF soldier who served in the 2014 Gaza War says the media fueled hatred for the Jewish state.
During the 2014 Gaza War, also known as Operation Protective Edge, the IDF came across, and publicized, a Hamas manual instructing terrorists to fire rockets from civilian homes. The reason was because an IDF counterattack on those homes “increases hatred” of Israel.
The media in Gaza ignored the fact that Hamas forced civilians to act as “human shields,” turning off their cameras when terrorists surrounded themselves with children while shooting rockets at Israeli families.
