Jacob’s famous dream of a ladder that reaches to the heavens with angels going up and down took place more than 4,000 years ago in the biblical city of Beit El.
Although it’s nearly impossible to find clear physical evidence of the events in Jacob’s life, researchers have spent years trying to find the location where this biblical epoch occurred.
