The Jewish state, since its inception, has included Hebrew Bible classes as part of its compulsory education requirement.

Israel’s public school system includes coursework in the Hebrew Bible from the 1st through 12th grade, and the subject is part of the high school matriculation exams.

Since the Bible is part of Israel’s history and culture, Bible engagement is also encouraged in state schools, both religious and secular.

How appropriate for the Land of the Bible!
