Unless you see it for yourself, you won’t believe the type of violence that broke out among Arab residents of northern Israel. Warning – this is no friendly display of July 4 fireworks that you may be familiar with.
At least 23 people were arrested after dozens of Arab Israelis violently attacked each other overnight Wednesday with fireworks and rocks, apparently with regard to upcoming local elections. Two people were injured and evacuated to hospital.
The fight took place in the Arab village of Kafr Manda in the Lower Galilee and caused significant damage to both private and public property. Israeli security put an end to the riot.
