Two Americans who plan on making “aliyah” in the near future discussed with a reporter their lifelong dream of moving to Israel and what motivated them to finally do it.
They were attending a mega-event in New York organized by Nefesh b’Nefesh, the premier aliyah organization. Founded in 2002, Nefesh b’Nefesh facilitates the integration of new immigrants into Israeli society by helping to remove professional, logistical and financial obstacles. The organization has brought 50,000 immigrants to the Jewish state.
