Former members of the elite IDF cyber warfare division, Unit 8200, are attacking computer viruses using a data bank of digital “DNA.”

Israeli firm Intenzer was started by Roy Halevi who is a former member of the IDF’s elite cyber warfare division, Unit 8200.

The company uses a new approach to fight computer viruses by using digital “DNA” to build a computer virus “genome.”

New threats are compared to the codes stored in the digital DNA data bank, permitting the program to quickly develop code to destroy novel viruses.
