Former US President Carter appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart during which they discussed the recent terror attacks in Paris. Carter raised a few eyebrows however, when he asserted that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a cause for Islamic terror.

Former US President Jimmy Carter has been a frequent critic of Israel, displaying what many feel is a shocking display of anti-Semitism. For example, he authored a book on the Israeli-Arab conflict, titled Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. During the war with Hamas terrorists this past summer, he called for recognition of the terror organization as a legitimate political entity.

On the Jon Stewart show, Carter, asked what he thought had led to the recent terror attacks in Paris, replied: “Well, one of the origins for it is the Palestinian problem. And this aggravates people who are affiliated in any way with the Arab people who live in the West Bank and Gaza, what they are doing now — what’s being done to them. So I think that’s part of it.”

Petition to the United States and European Union

We demand that all funding of the PA be stopped immediately. The brutal murder of Israelis committed by Palestinian terrorists throughout Israel is the latest result of ongoing PA incitement against Israeli citizens. Funding the PA means funding terror.
