The Israeli pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai commemorated International Holocaust Remembrance Day in a moving ceremony.
Among other firsts since the Abraham Accords, International Holocaust Remembrance Day was commemorated in a moving ceremony at the Israeli pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai.
Due to the pandemic, Emiratis and Israelis marked the day with an online event. This year was the first in-person Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony in the UAE.
Attendees included Emirati officials and the grandchildren of Holocaust survivors who came together to remember the six million murdered and say “Never again.”
