United Hatzalah, Israel’s emergency medical service, has developed an advanced AI system to predict and prevent medical emergencies, aiming to reduce response times.
The system, created by experts from the IDF’s 8200 Intelligence unit and United Hatzalah’s technology department, leverages 18 years of data to position ambulances and resources near predicted emergency locations with over 90% accuracy.
This innovation, which emerged in response to volunteer shortages after the October 7th attacks, is expected to become a global standard in emergency medical services, improving response efficiency and saving lives.
