In New York, human rights activist David Keyes protests against the Iranian Foreign Minister with an unusual protest – an ice cream party to “celebrate” 1000 hangings in Iran.
When human rights activist David Keyes met with the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif two years ago, he was told, “There is no one more committed to human rights and peace, and freedom than the Iranian government.”
Last week, while Zarif was speaking at NYU, Keyes threw a mock ice cream party outside to “celebrate” the milestone of Iran hanging 1000 people in the last year and a half.

Sign the Petition to Stop a Nuclear Iran
The US Congress must ensure that sanctions against Iran remain in force until the nuclear threat is completely eliminated.
I strongly oppose easing sanctions before the nuclear threat from Iran has been eliminated. Allowing Iran to enrich uranium without being subject to 'anytime, anywhere' inspections is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Iran's nuclear program must be stopped.
