The IDF has intensified its ground invasion into southern Lebanon to neutralize Hezbollah’s threat on Israel’s northern border, which has launched thousands of rockets, drones, and missiles at Israeli communities since October 8.
The IDF also disclosed that it has conducted covert operations in Lebanon since the war began, aiming to prevent Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Forces from launching another large-scale attack on northern Israeli villages, similar to the October 7 assault.
An uncovered Hezbollah command center was stocked with hundreds of weapons, substantial ammunition, and provisions intended for an extended incursion into Israeli territory, to murder, kidnapping, and sexual violence, mirroring Hamas’s brutal tactics.
