Eight senior Iranian officials were reportedly eliminated in an airstrike that targeted Iran’s embassy in Syria, as per reports from Arabic media outlets.
Israeli aircraft allegedly conducted an airstrike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, targeting senior members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to the Saudi-based Al-Arabiya news outlet.
General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a high-ranking commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, known for coordinating operations with Iran’s proxies is said to be among the casualties.
