International pilots that participated in the ‘Blue Flag’ aerial drill in Israel got a real taste of Israel – with Israeli snacks.

The Israeli Air Force’s Ovda base, north of Eilat, hosted ‘Blue Flag,’ the country’s largest-ever aerial drill involving more than 1,000 combat pilots and crews from India, the US, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland and an unidentified eighth country.

The goal of the exercise was to simulate extreme combat scenarios and fly in coalition as realistically as possible.

In addition to gaining new skills and learning from Israel’s aerial expertise, the international pilots also got a real taste of Israel with some of the Jewish state’s most popular snacks!
