Khameini riled up thousands of Iranians, calling for the demise of everything that America represents.

On November 3, a day before the anniversary of the 1979 U.S. embassy takeover in Tehran, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei addressed the public, slamming American values and encouraging the crowd to wish for the death of America.

That day, thousands of Iranians burned American and Israeli flags, chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” This display of hatred for America has become an annual event.

This happened despite the signing of the Iran nuclear deal, which, according to the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency, the Islamic Republic has violated.

Khameini also bragged about Iran’s power in the Middle East, noting the turmoil in most countries in the region.
