The Palestinians are launching a campaign to raise awareness for Israel “stealing and adopting” of their culture.
Hisham Jaber, director of Turkish-based Falastini TV said, “The occupation is always attempting to attribute to itself this beautiful heritage that is thousands of years old in order to say: ‘I am in this land,’ while knowing that this Palestinian cultural element, the Palestinian clothing, is approximately 4,000 years old and perhaps more.”
Jaber particularly accused Israel of illicitly misappropriating Palestinian food and clothing.
