Israel’s Defense Ministry has wrapped up a series of tests on cutting-edge anti-drone systems from Elbit, IAI, Rafael, and six smaller firms, showcasing tech like 30mm cannons, interceptor UAVs, and precision missiles in southern Israel.

The most effective systems will secure full government funding for accelerated development and eventual use in the IDF.

This comes as Israel faces an escalating drone threat, with over 1,300 hostile UAVs breaching its skies since October 7, 2023, resulting in 231 successful penetrations causing casualties and damage.
