Israeli aid to volcano-stricken Guatemala, including $10,000 worth of food, medication and blankets, arrived in volcano-stricken Guatemala.

Israel has delivered $10,000 worth of aid, including food, medication and blankets, to Guatemala after a volcano killed at least 69 people on Sunday.

“We follow with worry the eruption of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala. Our hearts go to the victims and their families. From Israel we extend solidarity and friendship,” Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon tweeted.

As the crisis escalates, we may well see Israeli boots on the ground giving a helping hand.
