Israeli basketball star Omri Casspi had the best game of his life (so far) on Wednesday. He equaled his team record of 9 three-pointers in a game AND set his NBA career high.

Casspi is the only Israeli who is currently playing in the NBA and turns out for the Sacramento Kings.

After joining the Kings for the first time at the tender age of 21 in 2009, he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Houston Rockets before returning to the Kings.

Averaging 13 points and six rebounds a game, Casspi is having his best season in the US to date and one of his best ever.

Casspi is a firm favorite here in Israel and is the current Israeli National team captain. He recently led his team in the European 2015 Championships.
